    G&A Partners' client, a provider of comprehensive oil and energy support services is currently seeking a General Manager to join its team.

    To ensure that all employees, resources and contracted services are utilized in a manner that maximizes short and long term profit for the combined entities of the organization

    • Grow the business profitably, by using existing physical assets and directing all employees.
    • Understand and work within cash flow restraints, in weekly discussions with the President.
    • Approve the hiring, pay levels and / or termination of all hourly employees in accordance with the Employee Handbook. Salaried employees require President’s approval.
    • Ensure that overtime is used efficiently. Continually determine if staffing needs are appropriate to work required and add or reduce headcount accordingly.
    • Ensure that all new hires and existing employees are properly trained for their responsibilities.
    • Such training is continuous.
    • Ensure that all new hires and existing employees are properly trained with respect to the Company’s and Customers’ safety policies and procedures. Such training is continuous.
    • Know, understand and ensure that all employees follow the Customers’ ethical guidelines
    • Ensure compliance with State and Federal rules and regulations appropriate to the Company’s business activities. Interface with third party safety and DOT compliance service providers.
    • Ensure that every activity that is billable to the Customer is profitable; has a work ticket and is recorded electronically within twenty-four hours of the activity taking place.
    • Ensure the proper recording of the utilization of all assets on their appropriate spreadsheets.
    • Such assets include houses, skids, generators, cooling trailers, pick-ups, trucks, trailers, etc., whether they are owned by the Company or a third party
    • Ensure that the proper maintenance of all assets is scheduled, carried out and appropriately documented
    • Ensure that no asset leaves the yard unless it has been properly inspected in accordance with Federal, State and Company requirements
    • Ensure that all assets are equipped with properly functioning tracking devices.
    • Recommend asset dispositions and acquisitions to the President, whose written approval is required
    • Ensure that all services for which a payment is expected to be made (vendors) or received (customers) has the proper approved documentation signed by both parties, noting that only the President has authority to approve legally binding documents on behalf of the Company.
    • Ensure that all appropriate environmental policies are followed.
    • Accompany or make a visit during move to at least one customer per month and take corrective action if proper procedures are not followed

    Skills & Abilities

    • Requires a 4 year degree
    • 5-7 years of meaningful experience in hard assets services business.
    • Oilfield experience strongly preferred but not required.
