G&A Partners' client , a provider of consulting and solution based services, is looking for IT Sales Rep.  to join them team. 

     

    Achieve Sales Goals, by applying company’s commercial, advertising and promotional strategies. Create and strengthen long-term commercial relationship with partners and customers. Plan, direct, or coordinate the actual distribution of service to the customer. Coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals and establish training programs for sales representatives. Analyze sales statistics gathered by staff to determine sales potential and monitor the preferences of customers.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Functions Statement(s)

    • Responsible to increase market share of company's services and solutions
    • Assess marketing potential of new and existing markets, considering statistics and expenditures.
    • Consult with corporate clients, senior managers and executives to advise on policies and procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business.
    • Confer with potential customers regarding their business needs and advise customers on types of services and solutions they  can offer.
    • Collaborate with management team on company decisions to increase sales.
    • Oversee regional and local sales managers and their staffs.
    • Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs.
    • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
    • Determine price schedules and discount rates.
    • Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
    • Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
    • Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditures.
    • Confer or consult with department heads to plan advertising services and to secure information on equipment and customer specifications.
    • Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of services.
    • Direct foreign sales and service outlets of the organization.
    • Direct clerical staff to keep records of export correspondence, bid requests, and credit collections, and to maintain current information on tariffs, licenses, and restrictions.
    • Direct, coordinate, and review activities in sales and service accounting and record-keeping operations.
    • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote company's services and solutions.

    SKILLS & ABILITIES

    Education:

    • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
    • Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school) Preferred, Field of Study: Business, Management, IT or related field

    Experience:

    • 3 plus years of experience in IT consulting sales, SAAS and corporate accounts.


    Computer Skills:

    • SAP Concur, SAP ERP experience as a user or sales executive.

    Other Requirements:

    • Ability to demonstrate an immediate, positive impact on sales.
    • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
