One of G&A Partners’ clients a financial institution located in Huntsville, TX and they are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join their dynamic team.


    Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the credit union's strategic marketing and public relations plans. Researches marketing needs and analyzes marketing trends for the credit union to ensure the credit union builds visibility and brand recognition. Improves the Credit Union's competitive position, consistent with its mission, within the markets served. Plans, executes, and manages delivery of the credit union’s marketing activities to achieve or exceed the credit union’s established strategic objectives and annual business plan targets. Leads the credit union culture committee, who is charged with promoting and communicating the credit union mission throughout the organization. Conducts all department activities in compliance with state and federal regulations.


    • Manages the credit union's digital marketing communications system (CoreIQ).
    • Plans, designs, and implements new communications strategies as appropriate.
    • Maintains, modifies, or sunsets existing strategies as appropriate.
    • Coordinates with business units to maximize the credit union’s investment in this system.
    • Analyze market trends and demographic data using software applications such as "Bank Analytics" to identify growth potential opportunities within the market.
    • Uses other available means to generate targeted leads for acquiring new members/new business and or products and services.
    • Designs and produces marketing campaigns for identified target audiences.
    • Plans, creates, modifies, manages placement, and develops marketing strategies for all digital and print marketing media to build visibility and brand awareness for the credit union and to promote
      use of the Credit Union's services.
    • Marketing media includes social media, CU website, LED sign messaging, on hold messaging, statement messages, radio, newspaper, television and billboard and others.
    • May manage or coordinate with an outside advertising or marketing vendor, or content creation team such as the web site host
    • Communicates marketing initiatives to staff and ensures the entire team and call center are well versed in credit union products, promotions and marketing initiatives and that the organizational culture is communicated through leadership of the organizations culture committee.
    • Coordinates special events, including off site radio remotes and presentation events; monitors planning, schedules and implementation as required for proper execution of each event.
    • Coordinates the annual meeting, including production of reports, facilities, and meeting logistics.
    • Increase awareness of the credit union by managing the credit union's community involvement program.
    • The community involvement program includes the delivery and development of financial education presentations, community outreach, and the management of community
      sponsorship requests.
    • Researches, recommends, plans, organizes, implements and manages other marketing service initiatives, especially those based on financial literacy objectives, for the purpose of attracting new members and cultivating the loyalty of existing members.
    • Researches and recommends product or service enhancements to provide quality member service or meet the financial needs of members.
    • Develops, proposes, gains acceptance for, participates in, and implements strategic plans designed to meet the credit union's short- and long-term marketing objectives for the purpose of attracting new members and cultivating the loyalty of existing members, regularly report on the plans effectiveness and develop the annual budget for the department consistent with the overall strategic plan and credit union budget.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Performance Measurements:

    • Aggressively manages and continuously develops the credit union’s internal marketing communications system to deepen member relationships, generating loan demand and promoting digital services adoption and use as demonstrated by analytical reports and tracking of efforts.
    • Maintains current, targeted marketing initiatives across all adopted marketing services channels, such as digital signage (street side and in lobby,) statement & receipt messages, and social media.
    • Achieves business plan targets through the execution of appropriate external marketing initiatives.
    • Meets or exceeds strategic marketing plan objectives/goals.
    • Maintains staff awareness/knowledge of marketing services and initiatives in place through appropriate communications and training.
    • Builds brand awareness in the identified local market through participation in appropriate community events and organizations.
    • Complies with Credit Union’s marketing policies, and deliver marketing services in compliance with applicable state and federal rules and regulations.



    • Six months to two years of similar or related experience.
    • Database creation and analysis, ability to filter data to meaningful sets for targeted items.


    • A two year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.

    Interpersonal Skills:

    • A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact.
    • Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal orsensitive nature.
    • Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts
