A growing, Houston-based professional services firm, G&A Partners is partnering with one of our clients who are currently seeking a Marketing and Events Coordinator to join their team in Southlake, TX.
As the Marketing and Events Coordinator you will be part of a small,
yet dynamic team. Under the direct supervision of the Sales and Marketing Director this
position is responsible for building brand loyalty and awareness amongst our readers
and advertisers. The position works with both internal and external teams to produced
content-based programs and events for customers and consumers of our brands.
Specific responsibilities include; copywriting, editing and dissemination of digital and
print content to targeted audiences.
This position requires a multi-talented communicator who collaborates closely with the
publisher, sales team, in house art and editorial staff to maintain and enhance company
Marketing Communications (50%):
Collaborate with team to define and develop all B2B sales and marketing collateral.
Media Kit, Sell Sheets, E-Newsletters etc.
Develop and deliver public relations and community outreach
PR to community outlets and partners
Reader Contests and loyalty promotions
Collaborate on published Branded Content
Special Advertising Sections, Business Profiles, Promotional and Event Pages and
Branded Advertising Copy.
Write/edit copy, coordinate photography and images
Event Coordination (50%)
Marketing and administration of all Southlake Style monthly and annual events
Coordinate event strategy and execution
Develop and deliver Sponsorship/Marketing Materials
Point person for community event calendar and 817Tix.com
Work with internal and external staff to ensure a positive experience for sponsors and
Education: BA/BS Marketing, PR/Journalism or other communications field.
Ability to share concepts and ideas successfully in both B2B and B2C environments
through engaging short-form copywriting. Strong project management, organization
and planning skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work effectively and
professionally with internal staff, clients and community.
