G&A Partners' client is currently seeking a Sales Representative to join its team in Houston, Texas.

 

Summary

The Sales Representative will sell products and services offered by the company to current and new clientele. The Sales Representative will be responsible for building and maintaining a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads. The Sales Representative communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
  • Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
  • Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
  • Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
  • Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
  • Prospect and engage potential customers to introduce our innovative sign products and services.
  • Conduct on-site visits and presentations to showcase the value of our signage solutions.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with clients to understand their unique needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Close deals and achieve sales targets to contribute to the company's success.
  • Target and sell to new clients and serve the custom signage needs of existing clients as assigned.
  • Identify new opportunities through prospecting, networking and other methods deemed appropriate by Company.
  • Manage and report daily, weekly and monthly activities as deemed necessary by Manager.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field.
  • At least 2 - 3 years sales experience required.
  • Sign industry knowledge is preferred.
  • Experience in cold calling and prospecting.
  • Experience creating and presenting custom business solutions.
  • Excellent people skills, negotiation skills, and relationship building abilities.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales goals and managing advertising sales opportunities from prospect to signing.
