Our Client, a well-known Houston personal injury law firm, seeks a hard-working, aggressive trial lawyer to handle all aspects of a personal injury docket - from inception through trial, and across full range of case types (commercial motor vehicle accidents, nonsubscriber/third party work injuries, premises claims, product liability, etc.).

• handles a file load of personal injury and medical malpractice cases
• Extensive client interaction including intake and subsequent communications
• Prepare demands and negotiate successful resolutions on behalf of clients
• Attend and advocate for clients at depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trial
• Independently research, interpret and apply legal principles in the context of motion practice and litigation
• Attend and participate in weekly team meetings relating to the evaluation and advancement of injury and malpractice cases
• Work collaboratively with senior attorneys in litigating complex medical negligence and serious injury cases
• Active involvement in all phases of client representation from intake, initial office conferences, case development, demand, negotiation, arbitration, litigation, and resolution

• Several years of relevant litigation experience is required
• Client focused – personally demonstrate that both external and internal clients are a high priority by identifying, and responding to their needs in a timely and efficient manner
• Extensive experience in Medical Malpractice, Serious Injury, and Complex Litigation
• Strong academic credentials
• Advanced analytical skills
• Strong time management skills
• Strong writing and oral communication skills
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Compensation:

Top-tier base within plaintiffs' PI (DOE), 401(k) + profit sharing, and full benefits package.
