G&A Partners' client is currently seeking a Warehouse Lead to join its team in Channelview, TX.

Responsibilities

Our Client is looking for a Warehouse Lead to join its team to help receive products from their delivery trucks as well ensure proper loading of product onto trucks. The Warehouse Lead must ensure that all products remain in good condition when packed and keep the warehouse operating efficiently at all times.

 

A Warehouse Lead’s responsibilities include lifting boxes, organizing products and keeping the warehouse area in a clean and orderly state at all times.

Ultimately, you will work with other Warehouse Clerks to help move products on shelves, pack trucks and unload deliveries as they come in.

Responsibilities

  • Pick and pack customer orders
  • Load and wrap skids for shipping
  • Label items around the warehouse
  • Inventory control of the warehouse
  • Keep the warehouse clean

 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience with logistics, manufacturing, and/or mill experience
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Microsoft Excel Proficiency required (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs)
  • Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
  • Proven work experience as a Warehouse Clerk or similar role
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
