G&A Partners' client is currently seeking a Maintenance Account Manager to join its team in Austin, TX.

 

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Account Manager with experience in landscape management, sales, or a related field. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing customer accounts, driving sales, and ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction while maintaining quality service standards. The Client is committed to using ecological principles to design, build, and maintain sustainable, functional landscapes.

Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and nurturing relationships with new and existing maintenance clients to ensure satisfaction and ongoing business.
  • Developing sales strategies to generate leads, convert prospects, and increase the scope of maintenance services offered.
  • Creating and managing maintenance accounts for clients, ensuring all needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conducting site visits and quality control inspections to ensure services meet company standards.
  • Preparing and presenting maintenance bids for both new and existing clients.
  • Coordinating and overseeing maintenance schedules and ensuring that crews have the resources needed to complete work on time.
  • Collaborating with Project Managers to resolve project issues and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Monitoring maintenance crew performance, tracking hours, and assigning tasks as needed.
  • Coordinating maintenance invoicing and ensuring timely payments.
  • Managing procurement and delivery of necessary materials for landscape maintenance services.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
  • Handling administrative tasks such as obtaining necessary vendor setup documentation (W9 forms, insurance certificates, etc.) and general office support.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required; additional qualifications or certifications in landscape management or business preferred.
  • At least 3 years of previous experience in a landscape or irrigation management role, or a similar field.
  • 1+ years of experience in sales or account management in a landscape or related industry.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop long-term partnerships.
  • Proven ability to generate leads and convert them into maintenance contracts.
  • A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and general computer applications.
  • A strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering results.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Availability to work both indoors and in the field, including conducting job site visits and inspections.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.
