G&A Partners' client is currently seeking a Day Shift Foreman to join its team in Spring, TX.

 

Summary

Coordinates with the Executive VP of Operations to direct the activities of day shift production department employees in the Winding and Finishing areas by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate employees

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES/ ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• include the following, other duties may be assigned:
• Must be able to read and write in English or Spanish.
• Capable of understanding and supporting quality, environmental, occupational health and safety requirements, as applicable to this position.
• Coordinates with Executive VP of Operations, Production Planner & Production Assistant to determine production requirements and assigns operators as necessary to achieve schedule.
• Supervises Day Shift Winding Leadman and Finishing Leadman.
• Checks inventory levels of supplies and reorders as necessary
• Checks product characteristics including appearance, fit and finish.
• Checks all shipments.

OTHER DUTIES

• Compiles UPS reports – weekly
• Compiles inventory – monthly

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• The following positions report to the Day Shift Foreman:
  • Operators
  • Team Leaders
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include assigning work and training employees.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• 5 to 10 years production experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Starting salary is $90,000 up to $100,000

The starting range represents the low and high end of the G&A Partners’ range for this position. Actual wages will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of G&A’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include commissions, annual bonuses, and program specific rewards.
