G&A Partners' client is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join its team in Austin, TX. 

 

The Project Coordinator bridges project operations by supporting the day to day operations of the crew in addition to procuring materials and equipment leading up to the job. This position will also coordinate with maintenance sales person to coordinate the maintenance schedule with the project schedule. This position will also lead the marketing outreach, ensuring that projects run smoothly while our brand voice clearly communicates our ecological mission to the public. Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

Project Coordination:

  • Coordinate with Project Managers to procure materials, equipment, and subcontractors for all construction and maintenance projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective purchasing
  • Coordinate with Operations and Sales Team to schedule construction and maintenance projects in LMN
  • Coordinate with Operations Team on a daily basis to create the daily operations schedule in Excel, assigning crews, tools, equipment, and materials and distribute to all staff
  • Support the transition of projects from the sales team to the operations team by ensuring all project details are entered, organized, and communicated clearly in Monday.com
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships to secure the best quality materials, equipment, and subcontractors in order to negotiate favorable pricing and coordinate timely deliveries.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers to manage time-sensitive procurement and logistics tasks ahead of their scheduled need
  • Photograph before, during, and after shots of landscape projects for marketing and documentation purposes
  • Coordinate with Project Managers to streamline internal communications between field crews, project managers, and salespersons to ensure project efficiency and profitability
  • Successfully work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing deadlines, schedules, field crews, and deliveries (THE ONLY CONSTANT THING IS CHANGE!)
  • Feel comfortable communicating directly with all levels of the organization
  • Be available to work overtime as needed meet project deadlines and to ensure excellent communication
  • Begin training on Job Costing to take on Job Costing in LMN within 1 month of hire
  • Regularly perform work indoors, and occasionally in the field

Qualifications

The successful candidate should meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Experience in project coordination and/or procurement (construction, landscaping, or a related field is required)
  • Experience using project management tools — Monday.com and/or LMN software experience preferred (or ability and willingness to learn it quickly and independently)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail — able to manage multiple projects, timelines, and communication streams simultaneously
  • Strong time management skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
  • Team player with a positive attitude who thrives in a collaborative, profit-driven and mission-driven environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Salary

Starting wage is 70,000/yr.

The starting range represents the low and high end of the G&A Partners’ range for this position. Actual wages will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of G&A’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include commissions, annual bonuses, and program specific rewards. In addition, G&A Partners provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, flexible spending, ancillary benefits, retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
