G&A Partners' client is currently seeking a Production Assistant to join its team in Channelview,TX.

The Mill Production Helper will assist in performing essential tasks during the production process, supporting operators to ensure the continuous flow of operations in compliance with plant policies, procedures, and safety standards. This role contributes to maintaining a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment throughout the assigned shift.

• Assist operators during production activities to ensure smooth workflow.
• Perform basic material handling such as loading, unloading, and moving items safely.
• Follow all plant safety rules, procedures, and supervisor instructions.
• Keep the work area clean and organized to support efficient operations.
• Report any unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or incidents immediately to the supervisor.
• Support rigging and overhead crane operations under operator or supervisor guidance.
• Be open to learning new tasks, adapting to changes, and improving skills on the job.

• Must have 2-4 years of experience in the Manufacturing field
• A High School diploma or equivalent of one-year experience.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• Manual dexterity required for operating, machinery, hand tools and handheld technical devices.
• The employee must have no physical or psychological limitations that would prevent them from safely performing rigging, material handling, standard procedures, and overhead crane operations.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within the position.
• Employee must be able to work with a flexible schedule which may require over-time.
