Overview

G&A Partners' client is currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join its team in Chattanooga, TN.

Responsibilities

System Design:

  • Design and oversee the construction of wastewater and water pumping stations, and distribution networks. 

Technical Analysis:

  • Perform hydrological and hydraulic analyses using simulation software to model water flow, and identify operational efficiencies. 

Compliance & Regulations:

  • Ensure all water and wastewater systems comply with environmental regulations and standards to protect public health and the environment. 

Project Management:

  • Manage projects from conceptualization to completion, including developing work plans, managing budgets, and coordinating with contractors and government agencies. 

Data Management & Modeling:

  • Gather, analyze, and model water use data to forecast demand and manage water resources effectively. 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

Technical Expertise: 

  • Current PE License
  • 8+years Experience within water and wastewater space
  • Strong foundation in mathematics, and environmental science. 

Software Proficiency: 

  • Expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) software, hydraulic modeling, and Microsoft Office. 

Analytical Skills: 

  • Ability to analyze large datasets, think critically, and creatively solve complex problems. 

Communication Skills: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting, collaborating with teams, and presenting to clients. Must be able to do some marketing.

The starting range represents the low and high end of the G&A Partners’ range for this position. Actual wages will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of G&A’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include commissions, annual bonuses, and program specific rewards.
