G&A Partners' client is currently seeking a Physician Assistant to join its team in Parker, CO.
They are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join their fertility clinic team. In this role, you will work closely with reproductive endocrinologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing fertility treatments. Your responsibilities will include patient assessments, diagnostic procedures, treatment planning, and patient education, all aimed at supporting individuals and couples on their fertility journey.
Patient Care & Assessments:
○ Conduct initial and follow-up evaluations for fertility patients, including medical histories and physical examinations.
○ Perform baseline and monitoring ultrasounds for IUI and IVF cycles.
○ Assist in early pregnancy assessments and management of complications.
○ Review and manage lab results, imaging, and other diagnostic data.
○ Coordinate care plans and communicate treatment instructions clearly to patients.
○ Provide support during IVF cycles, including medication education and monitoring.
Treatment & Procedures:
○ Perform procedures like intrauterine insemination (IUI), saline sonograms, and endometrial biopsies.
○ Provide patient education on fertility medications, treatment protocols, and lifestyle modifications.
○ Monitor patient progress throughout treatment cycles and adjust plans as necessary.
○ Counsel patients on fertility treatment options, medication protocols, and outcomes.
○ Assist physician with hysteroscopies, egg retrievals and embryo transfers.
Collaboration & Documentation:
○ Work closely with the clinical team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless communication.
○ Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Patient Support:
○ Provide emotional support and counseling to patients navigating the challenges of fertility treatments.
○ Address patient concerns and questions promptly and empathetically.
● Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
● Current and unrestricted PA license in the state of Colorado.
● Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
● Experience in women's health, reproductive endocrinology, or fertility care is preferred.
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
● Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
● Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Work Schedule
● Full-time position with a Monday through Friday schedule.
● Occasional weekend or holiday coverage may be necessary, depending on patient treatment cycles.
