G&A Partners' client is currently seeking a Product Program Assistant (Temporary) to join its team in San Antonio, TX.

 

Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas (GSSWT) is headquartered in San Antonio, TX and serves more than 15,000 Girl Scouts (girls and adults) across 21 counties in southwest Texas. The Product Program Warehouse Assistant(Temporary) provides support to the Sally Cheever Cookie Warehouse, which sends out 22,000+ cases during the cookie season.

Responsibilities

  • Daily beginning and ending inventory of the Sally Cheever cookie warehouse.
  • Process pre-placed orders in the inventory management system.
  • Cookie order entry in the inventory management system.
  • Train daily warehouse volunteers on proper order processing and warehouse functions.
  • Act as a point of contact for warehouse volunteers.
  • Stocking and restocking of cookie packages and cases.
  • Pull cookie cases and packages on to a conveyor belt based on troops orders.
  • Assist in counting cookie orders.
  • Assist in loading vehicles with cookie orders.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned in support of the council’s mission and goals.
  • Help create a fun and supportive workplace.

Qualifications

Licensure/Membership Requirements:

  • All employees with GSSWT are required to maintain a membership with Girl Scouts of the United States of America (GSUSA).

  • Education/Experience:High School Degree/GED
  • Language: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret program guides. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from volunteers.
  • Math: Ability to count, calculate numbers and apply concepts using basic math.
  • Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Computer Skills: Must be proficient with computer and Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Outlook, and Word). If not yet proficient, confident in your ability to learn any needed computer skills.

  • This position primarily performs its duties indoors and is occasionally exposed to outdoors weather conditions and/or moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Who You Will Be Working With:

  • The current Product Program department is made up of a Director of Product Program, Product Program Manager, Product Program Specialist, and two Product Program Assistants (Full-Time and Part-Time). The Product Program team is built on collaboration, mutual respect, hard work, and (a lot of) fun.

Salary

Starting wage is $15.65/hr.

The starting range represents the low and high end of the G&A Partners’ range for this position. Actual wages will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of G&A’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include commissions, annual bonuses, and program specific rewards. In addition, G&A Partners provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, flexible spending, ancillary benefits, retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
